If you ask someone in Ohio, Georgia or Paris what they think of Laguna Beach, chances are they will say some variation of: “Ooo … fancy, beautiful, art stuff, movie stars and spoiled kids.” Alas, lingering reality TV shows, glossy movies and simple ignorance have contributed to a speckled reputation. Nonetheless, Laguna’s brand endures and is both envied and bedeviled around the world. All of which means more fun for us. Bring on the art. Turn up the music. And let’s paint the town bloody red.
