If you see people abusing reefs, look for a lifeguard or docent. Generally, people are ignorant of the rules, but a few are indeed evil and deserve a blowfish in the face.

Reefs loved to death

In some ways, you’d like a rogue wave to just wash them away.

They are tourists on a mission to rape the reefs, stripping them of anything sacred. Despite attempts by Laguna Ocean Foundation docents, the reefs continue to suffer under the onslaught of the entitled masses.

What to do?

No one knows, apparently. Education is nice but lacks teeth.

We want teeth.

We want eels to rise up and make a statement.

We want urchins to sting their oppressors.

Unfortunately, we have people throwing rocks at urchins with impunity.

The reefs are dying and we’re watching it happen.

Any reef, anytime

LOCATION:
  • Wherever there’s a reef, there are villians.
DETAILS:
  • Be on the lookout. Report violators.
LOCAL TIP:
  • Look for a docent or a lifeguard. Worst case, call the police. Or accidentally push the violator into a blowhole and hope for the best. You may get arrested but you’ll feel better.
